COVID-19 Update

Dear Valued Customer,

Subject: Coronavirus Update

Bel continues to monitor the situation, as it pertains to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We’ve implemented industry best practices throughout our facilities, including travel and visitor restrictions, work from home policies, social distancing, employee screenings, and regularly updating associates as to information posted by the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization. While fully embracing preparedness efforts by all applicable government entities, we realize that we also have a responsibility to continue to support our customers.

All our manufacturing facilities are currently operating. Signal Transformer’s factory in the Dominican Republic is back online, but currently limited to only supplying products that directly support industries deemed essential. We encourage all Signal customers to contact your local customer service representative to determine any specific impact. Our facilities in Mexico and the US remain open, but are operating at slightly less than full capacity, due to supply chain constraints and implementation of social distancing. Our Asian manufacturing sites are operating at approximately 90% efficiency, due primarily to COVID-19 restrictions and safety measures. Bel continues to work closely with our supply chain and logistics partners, to ensure business continuity, within the allowable framework established by each local government. We ask that you plan accordingly, as lead times on many products have been extended by up to 4 weeks.

As always, Bel is fully committed to supporting each of our Bel, Cinch, CUI, Signal, Melcher and Stewart customers and, will do everything possible to provide you with timely updates as to the status of our global operations. Please work with your local Sales and Customer Service support teams concerning open orders and commit dates for specific part numbers. Contact information is available at

We will provide future updates as warranted.

Best Regards,
Dan Bernstein
